Non-Attorney Mary Mcculley Takes on Big Bank

Mary Mcculley is not one to back away from an injustice. If something is wrong or illegal, Mary Mcculley stands up for herself and others. Unfortunately, Mary Mcculley had to stand up for herself for the terrible injustice done to her by US Bank.

It is always hard for an individual citizen to stand up for themselves. Often, individuals like Mary Mcculley feel intimidated by large businesses when the businesses threaten to get lawyers involved. However, 6 years ago, Mary Mcculley decided to correct the wrong done to her.

Eventually, Mary Mcculley was able to work with US Bank to get an appointment for mediation. Mary Mcculley was thrilled. At the mediation, Mary Mcculley fully hoped that the meeting with lawyers would allow for a fair conversation. However, Mary Mcculley was disappointed to find that a true mediation with the lawyers wasn't going to be achieved.

Mary Mcculley was very disappointed that she had traveled so far just to find out she was going to continue to be intimidated as an individual up against a big bank. To help in her fight against the bank, Mary Mcculley had issued a civil suit against the bank. Often times, a fair mediation is never awarded between a large business and an individual, so people often resort to lawsuits in hopes that a fair mediation will occur.

Mary Mcculley continues to be haunted by the lawsuit and the problems that followed after the failed mediation. Mary Mcculley finds it hard to move on after being unjustly accused of pulling a gun on the mediation lawyers. Eventually she was found not guilty, since the judge and jury agreed that she had been wrongly accused. She is so upset with the ordeal that she is writing a book on the experience. Seeing all the fraudulent activity performed by banks following wrongful home foreclosures, Mary Mcculley expects the book to be a hit. Although the ordeal was extremely difficult, Mary Mcculley had personal success when she won her appeal for the injustice done by the bank.
